Hi! I’m Devon Gamble. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a devoted mother, wife, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. I attended Youngstown State University, where I earned my B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Psychology in 2013. While an undergraduate, I founded a student organization, Speak Out Loud in 2011. I had a mission of blending cultures on campus, to learn from others and have fun through dynamic educational events and student activities. Through a fostered partnered with the University’s Student Activities Department, for 2yrs. I  hosted two successful fashion shows, multiple panel discussions and a talent show. As a student, I was rewarded certificates for Community Engagement and Student Spotlight, and had the honor to serve a peer mentor to the University's Vice President of Student Affairs. The fulfillment for giving back, pulling and utilizing resources, while educating and entertaining sparked my passion for philanthropy, which led me to develop Speak Out Loud, Inc., into a non-profit organization.

After graduation, I began my career as a Case Manager contracted with Cuyahoga County Jobs and Family Services. I then went on to become a Probation Officer for the Cleveland Municipal Court, assisting with the court’s programs, Redirecting Our City Kids, Get On Track, and the Greater Cleveland Drug Court from 2014-2019. Wanting to focus more on philanthropy, community engagement, and development, I resigned from the court, began foundation building for Speak Out Loud, and enrolled in Lake Community College, where I obtained certificate for my Ohio Real Estate Sales License, which I earned in 2020.

I am excited about servicing the same community I was born and raised in. Community is important to me and I am looking forward to my future endeavors of Community Engagement & Development within the City of Cleveland and surrounding areas.
